Lots of Rain = Flooding

it's been raining a lot the past few days. and i think the torrential nature of the rain is even comparable to stuff back home because i've heard flood warnings on the radio - and have heard of friends living in Leamington Spa whose houses have been flooded over the past few days. i thankfully dont a) live at the bottom of a hill and b) live on the basement level of a house...

the rain is now a threat to me having fun at Skool Dayz tonight. because i'd have to queue either in the rain or with an umbrella (which will undoubtedly get lost if i leave it somewhere in the Union or i will forget about if i check it in at the cloak room) AND there have been flood warnings for Stratford-upon-Avon (because the river is going to flood) and for Warwick town which means that Ivy and Isaac's visit might end up being us cooped up in the house... hmm...
