while waiting for Ave to get up so we can go out and do touristy things

we were having a conversation yesterday afternoon about how many students on exchange in Europe seem to want to conquer the entire continent in one semester. perhaps that isnt my thing but it seems a bit too rushed to try and see everything in 6 months, especially when it probably involves rushing around and not taking the time to savour life. and at the end all you have to show are photos with you standing in front of famous landmarks, and nothing else but the claim that you have 'been there, done that'.
