my life in warwick...
...IS ABSURDLY PACKED!
though most of it is kind of out of choice.
it is a choice to go for my classes (indeed it is), especially for screenings that are optional.
this year i decided to be take up more dance classes because doing just Tap Level 2 wasnt as fun as doing a range of classes. this of course equates to being in more items in the Tap Soc's annual show!
this week i went for 5 1/2 hrs of dance. monday was tap technique classes for intermediate (45mins) and advanced (45mins). tuesday was advanced ballet (1h). today was tap intermediate performance class (1h), contemporary dance (1h) and intermediate jazz (1h). i love the tap intermediate dance for the show - it's to 'Killer Queen' taken from the musical 'We Will Rock You' which is about the band Queen. advanced ballet was really tough because i havent done ballet in 3 1/2 years and i found the class only just manageable. and it was an easier class because it was the first lesson of the term. next week it will get harder. *panic* intermediate jazz was killer - we had a super tiring warm up and i was dripping wet even before we started the routine. and the worse thing? we had to do crunches and i left a wet patch on the floor with my sweaty t-shirt/back. so PAISEH! but the routine was really cool so that made up for it.
at this rate i am going to lose my fats! YAY! if i combine it with gymming on thursdays and fridays (so as to 'make back' the money i paid for gym membership), i'll not be afraid to step onto a weighing scale, which i have avoided doing since the end of summer.
classes in warwick have been amazing, though there's loads of work to do but the seminars and lectures have been very stimulating and engaging. i'm really glad to have chosen the modules i did this year.
have i mentioned i joined Raw (Radio Warwick)? am going down to the studio on friday to watch the arts show and possibly join in the debate as to what the best film of 1988 should be (every week they have a forum of arts dept RaW members as to which film was the best of a specific year).
sorry for not blogging in ages but hope is near! you will hear from me as soon as internet is up, which mught actually be friday! wheee.... *dance of joy*
