our pilgrimage to the beach

every time i return to Singapore, Moon and i will usual plan the following: meeting up to have sushi buffet (which we have not done yet! AMAZING!) and going to the beach to lie under the sun and bake (we basically follow the examples of seals).

*the beach = Sentosa's Tanjong Beach because East Coast and Changi Beach are rather gross and Tanjong is secluded so that means no buayas and we can be totally relaxed (which of course means lying there with all our flab exposed)*

Michelle came along for the fun: she had asked Moon the night before if Mr Cluedo was coming too so naturally i was responsible for the entertainment. Warning: Board games at a beach involving small pieces of paper (i.e. Monopoly) and metal bits (for example, Cluedo) are quite unadvisable because either you're chasing scraps of paper that get blown away by the breeze/wind or you have to move hot metal objects from one end of the board to the other. Ouch.
those two were, in turn, a source of MY entertainment:

Moon and Sun Chips, with Time Master (don't ask!)
this was part of a sequence of faces that Moon and i tried to make to the camera - she yelled "ANGER!" and Michelle retorted "YOU LOOK MAD!" and the result was a picture of us trying to look angry but breaking out in laughter instead. but the photo did get Michelle's approval ("aiya... this one ok lah... can print can print")
on the other hand, i think this one would NOT have gotten Moon or Michelle's approval (any guesses what that was supposed to be? there is a reason why we are not actors!)we had FANTASTIC weather which i relished in while the 2 of them were busy being swept over by a huge wave.
i love how we can be so silly, so random and so you-mean-you've-been-away-for-more-than-half-a-year?-it-doesn't-feel-at
-all-like-you've-ever-been-away. perhaps this is how it feels to be home.
