work work work

i need a VCR - last night i went to the Learning Grid to use the VCRs to watch a film for class that i missed because i was sick. Carmen Jones (1954), directed by Otto Preminger. So anyway when i went there all the tables in front of the TVs and VCRs were occupied but NO ONE WAS USING THE TVs!!! and i couldnt like ask them to buzz off, right? so a wasted trip all the way to the Learning Grid. next year i will definitely buy a VCR from someone. second hand, which will be a lot cheaper. and it will be good when i have film essays because the library stocks a lot of the course films only on videotape, which is bad.

so anyway, over lunch just now i realised i have to seriously plan what i am doing in easter. here is the breakdown for now...

12th March to 15th March - Slovenia (Ljubljana)
15th March to 18th March - Croatia (Zagreb-transit & Dubrovnik)
18th March to 21st March - Hungary (Budapest)
21st March to 29th March - London
30th March to 3rd April - Belgium (Brussels, Bruges and Antwerp)
4th April onwards... back to Coventry?

9th and 10th April - cell retreat (Peak District?)

SO....

I NEED TO DO WORK IN LONDON and effective work when i am back in Coventry...
a) finish reading all my french lit books (which have been stalled for a long time)
b) do my modes of reading (english lit) essay - 3,500 words, 50% of module grade
c) do my french lit essay - 20% (start on essay plan at least)
d) do my german lit essay - 20% (start on essay plan at least)
e) do revision for exams (hmmm....)

and i forgot i was supposed to visit iain in leeds. sorry iain, i might not have time...

BUSY BUSY BUSY! :)
