a typical day of an unemployed-and-thus-voluntarily-choosing-to-lead-the-life-of-a-housewife person

*wake up and check emails
*make phonecalls to sort some personal stuff
*work out meals for the next few days and write out shopping list
*go to the market (read: not supermarket) to buy vegetables, eggs, meat, fish
*return home and repackage meat into meal portions (including chopping up chicken)
*cook lunch for self
*put in a load of laundry
*watch daytime TV (i.e. cooking shows, property shows)
*hang up laundry
*prepare dinner
(subnote: wonder why the oven is emitting smoke even though it worked yesterday - then work on getting the kitchen and conservatory smokefree)
*clear up kitchen and put away clean dishes
*watch evening TV
*go to bed and start the cycle all over again the next morning!
