i have 3 ideas for a dissertation next year and need some opinions on which i should pursue for my proposal due in 4 weeks
choice A *deng deng deng deng - vanna white pose*
Dance forms in Musicals - something like how dance forms in musicals evolved/changed with each era of musicals (like how Swing Time is different from Grease which is different from Dancer In The Dark...), perhaps some form of socio-historical change?

creation of glamour in films - hair, makeup, costume, lighting... glamour icons of the hollywood screen (think Rita Hayworth, Greta Garbo, Vivian Leigh...)

comparison of musicals on stage and on screen - film adaptations of West End/Broadway films (Chicago, The Producers) or vice versa, stage adaptations of films (Saturday Night Fever)
very rough ideas at the moment, but you can so obviously tell where my interests lie... :)
