ade and her relationship with cars
jieyang passed his driving today! first attempt! know what that means....? I HAVE A PERSONAL CHAUFFER BACK HOME IN SINGAPORE!
which leads me to my next point... i am sure, without a doubt, that i am spoilt. no joking. here in warwick i have a personal driver (hey josh, dont worry... you are more than JUST a personal driver...), whose car is though temporarily out of action, and that has meant that in the last term, i have taken the bus, perhaps only about 10 times... and now when i go home, the spoiling will continue...
last night i was thinking, by the time i am third year (by then josh would have graduated), would i be too dependent on private transport that i'll feel such a need for a car? hmmmm... would i be able to afford it? YIKES...
by the way, packing really is not THAT bad if you have the right music and make it into a mindless game of how much you can stuff into a small box/suitcase/space. moving out makes me pensive (well i have to move out because the lease on my accomodation only covers term time) because it makes me miss warwick. i will miss my room at the end of this academic year and miss looking over my shoulder out to the path next to my house, or looking at the sunrise. and i'll miss all the people graduating this year...
